7Berkeh: A few months ago, Dubai’s marketing saw a fresh and innovative campaign led by Keivan Mohseni, Saeid Ravanbakhsh and Mohsen Izadi. These three young Gerashi filmmakers introduced a concept using the Peykan—an iconic Iranian car from the 1970s—as a powerful marketing tool for Germax campaign (see it here on Youtube).

Bringing Peykan to Dubai: A Bold Marketing Strategy

Peykan, a discontinued Iranian classic car, had never been used in Dubai’s marketing landscape. This team envisioned a campaign that would capture attention by merging cultural nostalgia with Dubai’s futuristic aesthetic.

Filmed over four days, the cinematic commercial showcased the first-ever Peykan cruising through Dubai’s ultra-modern skyline. The video became an instant sensation, amassing: 14 million views on the client’s social media pages; 8 million additional views from Manoto’s coverage; 4 million extra views from Radio Farda; bringing the total impact to about 26 million views.

Inspired by its success, several other brands—including Seeb Restaurant, Rivas Restaurant, and Marshal Trading Company—attempted to replicate the concept. However, their combined campaigns failed to reach even 2 million views, proving that execution and storytelling matter just as much as the idea itself.

Saeid Ravanbakhsh and Keivan Mohseni: A Creative Duo Reunited

The Peykan project was not the first time Saeid Ravanbakhsh and Keivan Mohseni joined forces. The two had previously collaborated on the highly acclaimed web series “Kashokhin“, which gained international recognition and is now available for streaming on Indieflix, tubi Tv, Filmin, Prime Video. As the co-producer of Kashokhin, Saeid Ravanbakhsh played a key role in ensuring its success, while Mohseni, serving as the project’s director and director of photography, helped bring its cinematic vision to life.

VoidX Creative Agency: Pushing Creative Boundaries

Saeid Ravanbakhsh is also the manager of VoidX Creative Agency. He reflects on the success of the Peykan project: “For us, it’s never just about making videos. It’s about creating stories that resonate—whether it’s a film, a campaign, or something that sparks a conversation. The best ideas come when you stop thinking about what’s expected and start thinking about what’s possible.”
