Gerishna: in his first few days as the dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Gerash, Dr. Bahmani tried to re-orient himself with the new conditions of the Faculty. He was the dean of the Paramedical School of this Faculty for 7 years, from 1380 to 1387 (2001 to 2008), and was appointed dean of the Faculty of Medicine on the very last day of 1392 (March 2014).
As a start, Dr. Bahmani and his vice-deans, Dr. Mohaqqeq, Dr. Mohammadi and Dr. Golestan, visited the medical facilities of Arad and Fedagh. Meeting with the Gerashi students of medical sciences, and hosting Dr. Malek-Hosseini, the father of liver transplantation in Iran, were parts of his busy schedule in the first week.
In the last 6 months, since Dr. Kousari resigned from the faculty to continue his studies, the faculty was practically dormant. It is hoped that with the return of Dr. Bahmani, the situation of the faculty would improve steadily.
