Gerishna: A few months after establishing the Office of Cultural Heritage and Tourism of Gerash, the first meeting of Gerash Cultural Heritage Society was held on Saturday, October 3rd. The society is actually a helping hand for the office in each city. The head of the society is the Governor, and the other members are the managers of the Office of Cultural Heritage and Tourism, Culture and Islamic Guidance, Education, Mayor’s Office and the City Council. In the first meeting of the society, two other NGOs were also present: Lovers of Cultural Heritage Society, and ICOMOS Society of Gerash.
Preparing a section of Martyrs Azimi’s House for anthropology museum of Gerash, registering Seif-Oddin mosque as a national heritage site, and restoration of Dahbashi bath were among the more important decisions of this meeting.
