Gerishna: Mr. Ghaedi, the acknowledged mayor of Gerash for more than 6 years, left Gerash municipality to go to Zarghan municipality less than a month ago. And now, the City Council of Gerash has come down to two candidates to fill his position. Abdol-Reza Hormozi, the spokesman of the Council, said to Gerishna that final decision will hopefully be announced in the next week.
Mr. Hormozi maintains that regarding the widely accepted success of Mr. Ghaedi in Gerash municipality, the City Council needs to be careful in choosing his substitute. Both candidates are experienced mayors of other cities in Fars province, and have good relations with the top management of the province. And none are a local of Gerash.
