A Park of Her Own

Gerishna: Will a 3-hectare, well-equipped and exclusive park for women help them have a better recreational time? Given the limited opportunities of women for having a free space for their own, the question seems only a rhetorical one.

And the members of the City Council of Gerash agree. Two of them, Habib Mehrabi and Mahvash Sheibani, along with the mayor, Hossein Ghaedi, sat in a meeting with a number of active women in Gerash to discuss the advantages of the plan and its possible defects.

The park will be situated to the north of the City Park. The City Council promised to finish its construction by the end of March 2015.
