Gerishna: From the beginning of June 2014, Air Arabia will increase its flights from Larestan airport to four flights a week. This airline, which is amongst the low-cost airlines with its head office in Sharjah, UAE, will fly a two-way route from Sharjah to Lar to Sharjah, four days a week on Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday. Air Arabia began flying to Larestan airport from September 2013 with two flights a week.
“This is a response to the increasing demand for more international flights from Larestan airport”, says Enayat Ansarifard, the director-general of the airport; “these flights will be done by Airbus 320.”
Larestan airport is ranked sixth among the international airports of Iran because of its flights to Dubai, Kuwait, Qatar and Sharjah.
